Boys Group: looks at issues and themes around the experience of being a male.
Girls Group: addresses issues of self-identity, such as body image, gender and cultural issues.
Art Group: is a non-directive group where young people are encouraged to express themselves through a creative medium of their choice e.g. paint, clay, paper, felt tips. Sometimes a theme is introduced to encourage ideas. Young people are encouraged to discuss their work with an emphasis on emotional issues rather than technique or achieving a perfect piece of art work.
Social Skills Group: builds up relationships by developing trust and self-confidence through support and feedback through the group. Verbal and non-verbal skills are skills are practised and developed through the use of questionnaires, discussions and role-plays.
Action Group: through visual and dramatic expression, the young people explore everyday issues, such as peer and adult relationships, school and families. The group may also explore life-events, such as turning points in the past and how they future is pictured.
